We stayed in the penthouse suite, which included an additional upper floor with a double bed. While this bed was smaller than the master bed, it did have a mosquito net—unlike the master, which might be confusing for some guests. A heads-up: I banged my leg quite hard on the master bed frame, as it juts out more than expected—left with quite a bruise, so do be careful! That said, both beds were very comfortable. The suite itself is spacious and features additional seating, which was great for relaxing. A full-length mirror is placed behind the seating area, which felt like an odd choice—it would have been more practical elsewhere. The bathroom was a good size, though it did get quite warm as there’s no air conditioning in there. It has a large corner shower, and complimentary shower gel and shampoo were provided. The balcony offers a beautiful view overlooking the beach and the restaurant. While the view is lovely, noise from the restaurant can travel up—earplugs helped with that. Housekeeping was consistent, with the room tidied daily, fresh towels provided, and complimentary water bottles restocked. There’s also a kettle with tea and coffee available in the room. Breakfast was generous, with a good selection of bread, pastries, and a bowl of fresh fruit—though it’s the same each day. You can choose from various egg styles, or opt for a traditional Sri Lankan breakfast, which needs to be ordered the day before. The juices were especially nice. Overall, I’d recommend the stay. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout.

We absolutely loved the location. Right on the beachfront and central of the small town with lots of restaurants and shops. Kevin in particular was an absolute star, went above and beyond - cobstantly smiling, welcoming and all the staff couldn't do enough for us. Kiki was our favourite furry friend. The free shuttle to use the pool at the sister Hotel was really great and an added bonus. Would definitely recommend staying here.

The rooms are just next to the beach. Beach is very clean and crystal clear water. Though the rooms are small in size, they were equipped with all the necessities., including mini bar and tea/coffee maker. Breakfast was super. Dinner was served a la carte and was very quick and fulfilled all our different food requests without any hesitation. The staff were very friendly, always ready to help with heartiest smiles on their faces.

Beautiful building and decor with stunning views of the beach. The staff were great with the kids and super helpful. Great location onto beach and lovely walk towards the temple at the other end. Good selection of food and breakfast. We like that we were able to access the other hotel pools and spa facilities. They even organised a breakfast pack to take with us when we left early for the airport.
